Dr. Marrs earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Missouri. She also received her undergraduate degree from the University of Missouri, graduating with honors. Her journey into veterinary medicine began at the age of fifteen. Growing up in the Kansas City area, she started volunteering at a local mixed animal clinic and continued to work as a veterinary assistant and technician throughout her high school and collegiate years.

During her time in veterinary school, Dr. Marrs pursued a wide variety of clinical experiences, from working with wildlife like rhinos and giraffes in South Africa to rehabilitating injured birds of prey. These days, her professional interests include preventative care, internal medicine, dentistry, and exotic animals. She is eager to get to know you and truly looks forward to becoming a trusted partner in your pet's long-term care. When away from the clinic, Dr. Marrs stays busy with baking, embroidery, and enjoying quality time with her family and friends. She is also a proud pet parent to two grey cats, Frannie and Winnie.
