Melissa was a zookeeper for 7 years. Her main department was big cats, and she was also cross trained in birds, reptiles, and small mammals. She is a graduate from Tom Rose School for Professional Dog Trainers. Melissa enjoys being out in the woods and foraging for wild mushrooms and plants. She also raises peacocks outside of work. She is a member of Three Creek Bassett’s, and they go hunting every Sunday with a pack of 10+hounds. She has been a veterinary technician for 4 years in small animal practice.
